I was born in Australia, in 1972. I grew up in many places, including Sydney and Melbourne. I have always loved to draw. My family jokes that I was born with a pencil in my hand. It was no surprise when I graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. My love continued to be black and white drawings, but to pay the bills, I worked as a graphic designer for seven years. After those seven years, I married and became a stay-at-home mother of two fantastic boys, Griffin and Gavin. During the time my youngest was a baby, I discovered photorealism drawings. I found it challenging and very calming at the same time. I began practicing on my kids, my husband, and my pets. My friends took notice and encouraged me to start a business of my own. This is what I love doing, in addition to being a stay-at-home mom. I also enjoy reading, Tae Bo™ and cleaning. I currently live in Ohio with my husband Frank, our two boys, our retired racing greyhound Phoebe, and our two rescued cats, Reznor and Moses.
