All pet portraits are 11" x 14" on Strathmore or Canson Bristol board.
I use high-quaity graphite pencils. When your pet portrait is finished, it is sprayed with a protective fixative to set your portrait and prevent smudging. Your portrait arrives ready to frame.
Picking the right photograph
When choosing a photo of your pet, please choose or take a very clear, crisp photo.
If you want a full body pet portrait or a portrait with a background, you will need to make sure that both the pet and the background are clear. If you would like more than one pet in a portrait but don't have a photo of them together, I am able to use more than one photo to create one pet portrait.
Close up photographs are the best photos for your pet portrait, preferably with little or no background distraction.
